Built on land that was originally purchased in 1904, the Keansburg Amusement Park has a rich history in its place on Ideal Beach. After developing a boardwalk and some minor attractions in the area in 1931, the Mystery Ride opened for business. One of the oldest amusement park rides in the country, this legendary dark coaster was in operation until Hurricane Sandy. After the damage of 2012’s Superstorm, the park was rebuilt and open for another exciting summer season in the summer of 2013.
