New Jersey Light House Challenge October 17th and 18th
New Jersey's 11 landbased lighthouses and two historical museums housing Fresnel lens all open on one October weekend. Participants receive a free souvenir at each lighthouse. Those who complete the challenge of visiting all 13 sites receive a special memento. Challenge is free, climbing is optional and some lighthouses may charge. Monmouth County: Sandy Hook at Fort Hancock, Twin Lights at Highlands, Sea Girt at Sea Girt
Ocean County: Barnegat & Barnegat Light Museum at Barnegat Light, Tuckers Island at Tuckerton
Atlantic County: Absecon Lighthouse at Atlantic City,
Cape May: Cape May Historical Museum, Cape May Court House, Hereford Inlet at North Wildwood, Cape May at Cape May
(Bonus Site - optional visit at Ludlam's Beach, Sea Isle City)
Cumberland: East Point at Heisierville
Salem: Finn's Point at Pennsville
Gloucester: Tinicum at Paulsboro
