The Blue Bay Inn was a refreshing vacation from the day to day. We live in Rumson just a few towns away and love to come visit the Blue Bay, Kick back at Copper Canyon and have a weekend away from the kids. Thanks Blue Bay.
What an exciting place. Thank You Bob for your great newsletter. We came to the Blue Bay Inn June 09 as a recommendation from the Chamber of Commerce. The town was as beautiful as I expected. At the harbor was a great sunset and the boats took my breath away. The Bay Shore Trail was just the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We had a great room and a nice balcony. I must compliment the cleaning staff; it was so incredibly clean I was amazed. I would highly recommend the Blue Bay Inn and the town of Atlantic Highlands. What a great weekend.
Beautiful, clean rooms. The balconies are very relaxing and comfortable. Very peaceful atmosphere. See you next year! With the favourable conversion rate for the pound, this summer we decided to go on holiday to America. My wife and I wanted to go to New York but my daughters (aged 12 and 14) wanted to go somewhere with sunny beaches. After a bit of web searching I found the Blue Bay Inn and we got a lovely Double Bed Parlour Room for around £140 ($280 US Dollars) per night. We got both New York and some sun.
We all took the Seastreak ferry to New York City (which was a quick walk down the street and only about 25 minutes) and took a taxi to the Sandy hook beaches (which took about 10 minutes).
We felt very relaxed and safe in Atlantic Highlands (much more so than New York) and saved a load of money on the hotel as well. The town was so clean and had so many nice shops and restarants.
All in all we had a brilliant holiday. I'd like to thank Patty, Bob and Eric for their hospitality. Over the next year I will be in New York on several business trips. I will be staying at your hotel again during those trips and taking the Seastroke to Wall Street and will be recommending it to my assocaties as well.
cheers, Alun Simpson Cardiff, Wales (UK) We had the perfect visit. You have made regulars out of us. Thank you for such tranquil peace that is so difficult to come by. This was my 1st experience staying at a B&B and it was just wonderful. I didn't want to leave. |

After reading the article in the New York Daily News about Atlantic Highlands we found that we could take the Sea Streak Ferry over on Friday night right to Atlantic Highlands and walk a block to the hotel. You have to see the place it is truly a design genius. Although we got a standard room it was actually quite big despite what we read in the internet. We ate at Copper Canyon the restaurant onsite and had an amazing meal with awesome service. Then we went to the movies at the movie theater just 2 blocks away. (Great old fashioned theater) Then we finished off the night with an Ice Cream from great place called Mimi and Grammy’s Ice Cream Parlor. Amazing town I tell you. On Saturday we went to Sandy Hook. We had lunch at the Seagulls Nest. The only restaurant on Sandy Hook. We stayed till sundown and saw the most beautiful sunset ever. They do a tribute to the men and women who serve our country. They sing as the sun goes down.....It is amazing. I would highly recommend the Blue Bay Inn and Sandy Hook. An experience of a lifetime..... The Ford Family..., Stamford CT. |
The people at the Blue Bay Inn are amazing. I got engaged this past weekend down at the marina and thanks to the help of Bob, Maryanne and Carmen it was the best day of my life. God Bless and THANKS AGAIN! June 14th my day to remember! ....Sarah and Mark......Morristown, NJ |
Stayed at the Blue Bay Inn on business for the last 2 weeks. Great place for corporate travelers. Close to the Sea Streak Ferry to NYC and I can't say enough about the staff and what a great job they do! .....Miles ......MSNBC, NYC

The most beautiful fireworks for July 4th. Great Place... The Blue Bay Inn. Went to the Farmers Market down by the water on Friday what a great town. Many thanks to Bob and the staff for making my anniversary memorable. Ron and Doris Rumson, NJ |
We travel quite a bit but as gas prices started to rise we looked for places closer than Long Beach Island and Fire Island. We stumbled upon the Blue Bay Inn online and decided to take a chance. Coming from the West side of New York actually Chelsea we ventured to South street seaport and took the Sea streak Ferry as suggested by "ERIC". We had a great trip and in less than 40 minutes we were in Atlantic Highlands. After checking into the Blue Bay Inn we went and had drinks at Copper Canyon, and they boast about being the #1 Tequila bar on the shore. Well I can say now from experience they were right. Fernando our waiter was great at making sure we had only the best drinks and recommending only the best food. Retiring to bed amazingly I woke without a hangover. I guess that's when I realized how nice the place really was. I sat on the balcony and enjoyed the coffee and breakfast that came free and settled in for a day of nothing......Just a day of unwinding. I walked First Avenue, rented a small boat got some sun and basically did nothing. Saturday night we took a car service to Asbury Park for Road trip weekend.....Sunday came and I took a taxi to Sandy Hook, Gunniness Beach. The entire weekend was less than we expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail at the blue Bay Inn and honestly the place is amazing. The Blue Bay Inn is a great alternative to the long car trip and the crowds. Try taking the ferry from New York and Thanks to The Blue Bay Inn for an amazing weekend. Russel, West 34th street NYC |
